Treadmill simulators
On a treadmill simulator, you use real skis on a large, inclined, and moving synthetic surface. A small amount of water facilitates gliding, while the speed and incline can be adjusted.
Because the surface is constantly moving, you can link several turns without taking a lift. Your coach remains nearby to advise you and modify the exercises.
Treadmill simulators are particularly useful for:
-
discover indoor skiing;
-
learn the basic movements;
-
develop one's balance;
-
work on speed control;
-
improve your turns;
-
skiing with family or friends;
-
perform several repetitions;
-
to get back into the swing of things before the season.
The rail simulator
The rail simulator offers a more immersive and personalized experience. It combines a virtual descent with controlled movements to reproduce different sliding situations.
Depending on the program and the objective of the session, it can be used to work on:
-
short turns;
-
the large curves;
-
the slalom;
-
giant slalom;
-
changes in pace;
-
the precision of the movements;
-
coordination;
-
physical preparation specific to skiing;
-
confidence before a return to snow.
The rail simulator can also accommodate snowboarding, on the mats, only the snowboard initiation for this sport.
